Educational Objective: Familiarizing students with the concept, sources, consequences and basic characteristics of the police subculture, as a phenomenon inherent in the police profession.

Projected Outcome: Acquiring knowledge about the role and significance of the phenomenon of the police subculture.

Course Contents/Structure

Theoretical education: Concept of police subculture; basic types of police subculture; the universality and continuity of the police culture, the variation of the police culture, the preconditions, the reasons and sources of the creation of the police subculture, the components of the police subculture, the elements of the police subculture; police subculture in the light of certain theoretical concepts; characteristics of the police subculture

Practical training: Dissemination and verification of acquired knowledge through concrete examples.
