Educational Objective: Acquiring knowledge pertaining to the content of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and basic theoretical-legal concepts of constitutional law.

Projected Outcome: Knowledge relating to the current constitutional arrangements, as well as familiarity with the most important cases in comparative constitutional law and basic theoretical concepts in the sphere of constitutional law.

Course Contents/Structure
Theoretical education: History of the constitutionalism in Serbia; Organisation of Government (National Assembly, President of the Republic, Government, Courts; Constitutional Court; Civic Defender); Territorial organisation (Provincial autonomy; Local self-government); State of emergency.
Human and minority rights and freedom; Restriction of human and minority rights; Prohibition of discrimination; Derogation form human and minority rights in the state of emergency and war; Protection of national minorities
Practical training: Review subject content and analysis of significant theoretical and practical problems.
