Educational Objective: Learning the organization of the regional Police Administration, its position and role in the realization of security and protection, direct linking the theoretical knowledge acquired in the University of Criminal Investigation and Police studies with general jurisdiction police officer's practical actions in doing regular and emergency police business. The professional general practice also aims to enable students to comprehensively and thoroughly learn and master the specific teaching matter within the framework of special courses in order to prepare as well as possible for work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republic Serbia.

Projected Outcome: After the realization of the Professional General Practice students will: learn the organization, competencies, jobs, conditions and manner of functioning of the District Police Administration; gain insight into relevant regulations, operational, work and other records, files, cases, planning, reporting and other management acts; they will know what types of official documents are made during the work of the Regional Police Directorate (official notes, minutes, reports, applications, requests); become familiar with the planning, preparation and implementation of certain regular and extraordinary police tasks; they will develop the abilities, determination, and inclination to accept and support specific regime and methods of police unit work, learn to respect human rights and codes of professional ethics, and simultaneously take a look at the educational profile of the student of the University of Criminal Investigation and Police studies and the working profile of the police officer for whom they are being educated.

Professional Practice Contents: Organization and jurisdiction of the police station, Planning, organization, coordination and control of work at the police station, State of security in the police station area, Disciplinary responsibility at the police station, Organization and responsibility of the police station, Planning, organizing and performing tasks in the police station, Monitoring the security situation and events in the precinct, official records, public meetings, organization, tasks and form of policing in the security sector, planning, organizing, directing and work control in the security sector, sector dossiers, sectorial work plan, drafting - preparation of reports, certificates, records and other documents, on-call duty at police station, record keeping, apprehension and detention, permanent and interim residence registration and checking out, Issue and Replacement ID card issuing and replacing, motor vehicle registration and driver's license issuing procedure, travel document issuing procedure, Procedure upon the application for procurement of weapons and ammunition and registration, procedure for determining the social security number, Procedure upon request for acceptance and revocation of citizenship.

Teaching Methods: Frontal form of work, demonstrations, procedures and skills practicing, realization of case studies, group work, on-call duty at the School Police Offices.
