Educational Objective: Gaining knowledge about the phenomenological characteristics of contemporary forms of criminal activities and their impact on the activity of law enforcement, as well as knowledge about the application of criminal methods in detecting, clarifying and proving crimes with a view to their effective implementation and scientific research.

Projected Outcome: Achieving a high level of knowledge, abilities and skills to identify and understand the phenomenology of certain types of crime and offenses in the function of detecting, proving and research. And the ability to connect to the previously acquired knowledge in the field of criminal law, criminology, law internal affairs and related disciplines with practical experience in function efficiently counteract contemporary forms of criminal activities and their scientific research.

Course Contents/Structure
Theoretical education: The nature and characteristics of modern criminal activities; Criminal markets; The modus operandi of modern criminal activities (organized crime, cyber crime, violent crime, economic crimes, drugs crime); Crime strategy to counteract modern forms of criminality; Methods to combat contemporary forms of crime (criminal intelligence analytical methods, methods of financial investigation methods infiltarcije in a criminal environment; methods of secret surveillance); Models of international cooperation to combat contemporary forms of criminality.
