Educational Objective: Introduction to organizational management procedures (design, norms, standards) and optimization of maintenance costs for working life over a lifetime, from design, procurement, assembly, commissioning, maintenance, reconstruction to exclusion from the exploitation and recycling process. Introduction to the elements of technical diagnostics, proactive maintenance of reliability of technical systems and predictive maintenance.

Projected Outcome: Students acquire knowledge about organizational design factors, determining how to influence the organization from organizational norms to organizational standards. They are able to, through the definition of organizational relationships, link tasks, task carriers and the overall task of the whole system. Students gain insight into the ability to control organization and processes, as well as applications in engineering research. They acquire the knowledge of identifying places that are susceptible to cancellation and often cancel, based on the methods of technical diagnostics. They are trained to recognize failures in maintenance procedures and identify omissions created by the action of a human factor. They are also trained to recognize phase failures of the system, as well as to perform control inspection inspections regulated by the Law and regulations.

Course Contents/Structure

Theoretical education: Fundamentals of terotechnology, development of the concept of terotechnology, terotechnology concepts and definitions, economic evaluation of the cost-effectiveness of the investment, analysis of the function of the technical system, effectiveness of technical systems, basic methods of reliability of the technical system, determining the reliability of technical systems, searching and removing weak places on the technical system, basic maintenance methods, maintenance organization, examples of proactive maintenance of the reliability of technical systems and predictive maintenance of the system. Search and use of current scientific literature. Preparation of seminar work on a given topic.
