Educational Objective: The objective of the practice is for the students to get acquainted with contemporary methods and tools in informatics and computer science, especially in terms of their application in providing security of property and persons and protection of information and information systems and consequently within the framework of policing and the reality of policing.

Projected Outcome: After a number of hours spent in a police station, the students will have a defined attitude if they are really motivated to complete the studies at the Academy of Criminalistic and Police Studies – Informatics and Computer Science and to work in the Ministry of Interior (MoI) of the Republic of Serbia, other ministries of the Serbian government, as well as in all other positions within government and private sectors which are involved in providing security of property and persons and protection of information and information systems.

Professional Practice Content: To spend time in a police station according to the place of residence in order to get acquainted with various aspects of policing in general and in particular with providing security of property and persons and protection of information and information systems. The students should observe the work in a police station and the elected mentors should explain the work performed in a police station. To get acquainted with the work organization of the MoI of Serbia.
