Educational Objective: Teaching Information systems in economics aims to introduce students to the basic structure, functioning and conception of modern business information systems. Students will master the knowledge necessary for the application of information technologies in all areas of the economy (accounting, finance, business systems, and similar).

Projected Outcome: Students will acquire the basic economic knowledge which will enable the application of information technology in the economy.

Course Contents/Structure

Theoretical education: Information systems; management and development trends; information technology and information systems; the place and role of information systems in the business system; e-business; electronic store, banking and marketing; mobile business; information, management and decision-making process; economic aspects application of information systems in the business system; economic and social sphere of business information systems.

Practical training: Practical training in the areas that are treated in lectures.

Teaching Methods: lecture, modified lecture, research paper, colloquium, discutions.
