Educational Objective: Acquiring knowledge in the field of e-government. Introducing strategies and solutions for various aspects of eGovernment, such as e-procurement, e-participation, e-authorization, etc. Getting to know e-government models, including how to get information online, communication between state administration bodies and citizens / companies / public institutions, support for transactions; as well as the possibility management (eg through voting).

Projected Outcome: Training students to define strategies for e-government and its implementation.

Course Contents/Structure

Theoretical education: Strategies and solutions for e-government; Delivery of information and services including informal, interactive, Transaction and integrated services; Data protection including authorization, identification and authentication, protection infrastructure, and protection measures for the payment system; E-procurement; -partition Interoperability at local, state and interstate level; Digital divide; Managing change in E-government (eg due to change laws); Systematic approach to the development of the e-government system, realization and maintenance.

Practical training: Documentation and communication of one solution for eGovernment, from strategy to implementation; Modeling e-government solutions; Management of one eGovernment system. On the basis of the acquired knowledge students could independently work on the development and organization of the eGovernment system in local, regional and state institutions.
