Educational Objective: Acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge relevant for spotting, analyzing and researching security phenomena and events, their cause-and-effect connections, monitoring, forecasting and strategic assessment of the state of security, planning and proposing measures to effectively counter emerging threats to security.

Projected Outcome: Acquired theoretical and practical knowledge on analytical tasks and tasks in the police, and the ability to apply specific methodological procedures.

Course Contents/Structure
Theoretical education: Concepts and basic methods of scientific thinking and research; Criminalistic analytical methods and their typology; Types of analytics; The state of contemporary analytics in the world; Models of implementation of modern strategic and operational analytics; Creation and monitoring of analytical projects; Crime-intelligence (operational) analytics.
Practical training: Application of specific methodological procedures suitable for analysis of criminal phenomena and police affairs in SPSS, Excel, and I2 Notebook analyst.
