Projected Outcome: Adopted knowledge on general principles of work and characteristics of technical means and ability for their proper and safe use in police practice.
Course Contents/Structure Theoretical education: Protective means; Personal Equipment; Uniforms; Firearms; Ammunition; Specificity of firearms police; Basics of ballistics; Efficiency of shooting; Pistols and revolvers; Automatic weapon; Sniper rifles; Rifles shotguns; Explosives; Chemical agents; Official bars; Binding agents; Optical and optoelectronic devices; Television with light amplifier; Termolocation - thermovision; Thermovision sights; Laser devices; Radar devices; Positioning means; Means of communication; Police vehicles; Means for counterterrorism protection; Fire protection agents; Devices for the forcible stopping of vehicles; Technical security systems; Command-information systems; Tendencies in the development of technical means of the police. Practical training: Getting to know the principles of work and the characteristics of the technical means of the police; Tactical-technical assembly. Special forms of teaching - Professional field practical training in summer conditions: demonstration of the use of technical means of the police.
