Educational Objective: Introduce students to basic concepts of theory and decision support through a range of decision support tools. The subject should provide the acquisition of practical knowledge and skills that allow it to put the possession of the data into service better quality decision making.

Projected Outcome: Training to develop applications that support decision-making in organizations by gaining knowledge to build analytical databases, explore business data and apply the knowledge that is coming.

Course Contents/Structure
Basics of decision making and decision support. Multicriteria decision making. Data storage and development data warehouse. Data mining, Group decision support systems. Artificial neural networks. Conclusion based on cases. Genetic algorithms. Advanced concepts of data warehouse development. The term patern language.

Teaching Methods: lectures, exercises, consultations, seminar papers, examination (practical and theoretical).
