Educational Objective: Gaining adequate knowledge that will enable future criminologists to properly use legal powers of intervention and actions in the pre-trial procedure, investigation as well as in the criminal procedure.

Projected Outcome: Competence for the application of criminal legal regulations in the police actions in the pre- trial procedure and criminal procedure as well as the protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms.

Course Contents/Structure
Theoretical education: Police in criminal procedure as a teaching discipline; Position and role of the police in the pre-trial and criminal procedure; Role of the police in reporting criminal offences and perpetrators; Measures of restriction of the freedom of movement; Operational actions of the police; Evidence actions of the police; Police in the special and ancillary criminal procedures.
Practical training: Solving concrete criminal procedural situations, drafting documents in accordance with the CPC provisions, attendance to certain actions which have been undertaken by the police in the pre - trial procedure.
