Educational Objective: Acquiring basic knowledge, tactical skills and habits in use of special purpose police units and mastering tactical acts and procedures of an individual and lower special purpose tactical units.
Projected Outcome: Acquiring knowledge of basic tactical actions of special purpose police units.
Course Contents/Structure Theoretical education: Organization and tasks of special purpose police units; observation tactics, masking tactics and tactics of movement in action; tactics of intrusive and blocking actions, procedure tactics in the examination of land and buildings, tactics of fighting against outlaws and diversants, tactical use of special purpose police units at suppression of incarceration in prisons, tactical use of special purpose police units in the establishment of public order and peace disturbed on a larger scale, tactics of using special purpose police units in complex emergency and special security tasks, tactics of intrusive actions in an object at high risk arrests, tactics of antiterrorist actions. Practical training: Analysis of characteristic examples of special purpose police units engagement.
